Café Panache aan de Ten Katenstraat staat voor stijl, flamboyant en zelfverzekerd en dat zie je alleen al terug in het interieur: kleurrijke, Mediterrane tegeltjes, opvallende ‘kooilampen’ en wood all over the place. De enorme houtovengrill staat centraal in de keuken. Op de kaart staan heerlijke pitchers, longdrinks, cocktails en Gin&Tonics.

Right off the beaten track, Panache is located on the less familiar part of the Ten Kate market, in Amsterdam West. Panache is created by good friends who joined forces to convert an old market storage into a vibrant bar & restaurant. The meaning of the word “panache” is a flamboyant, original, confident but little reckless way of doing things. And that’s exactly what this eclectic café is all about.

The menu is market driven using only seasonal ingredients and sustainable fish and shellfish. Panache has a simple approach on food, cooked over a charcoal fired grill, which is placed centrally in the open plan kitchen. The flavors are clean, simple and fresh, and intended for sharing on small and large plates.

The main restaurant also features a large bar with a specialty of cocktails by the pitcher. The intimate bar in the front is ideally for drinks and celebrations up to 70 guests.
